All of the baby excitement has got me thinking about babies . . . and not in the “Mason needs a brother/sister” way so don’t go there! Instead I have been thinking of the disadvantaged babies and what we could do to help. We are so fortunate to have an organization like the Infant Crisis Services in our community and would like to help them out. If you bring in a donation for them between now and Thanksgiving we will give you 10% off* your purchase that day. Here is a list of donations they accept:

How exciting would it be to bring them a stack of hand-knit or crocheted hats & such? Let’s pass on the love! Plus every season I acquire a big stack of “gently used” things and have no one to pass them on to so I was thrilled to discover that they accepted these type donations. It makes me feel good to know they will go to a home where they are needed.

This stylish Chunky Cabled Vest is our current sweater project. This class is FREE and is held weekly on Thursdays at both SWAK locations, or catch the next Sunday class at SWAK in the City on Sunday, November 15. We just received a big shipment of DelSur, the fabulous yarn used for this vest. The colors are simply stunning, the computer doesn’t do them justice! Come in and pick out your color today.
