December 24: The Grand Finale
I’ve been pondering what to do for the final day of this holiday fun. If you checked your email a few days ago, you discovered we had this tidbit of excitement in store for you after Christmas…

Yes, I got the wild hair to have an after Christmas sale. This is the first time we’ve ever had a post-holiday sale so you won’t want to miss out. You do have to come and see us in person though (my apologies to those who live afar).
So today I decided to give away one fantastic prize to one lucky winner.

Valued at over $100 this prize includes:
Chocolate mode bag
Matching accessory pouch & pencil case.
Eucalan gift set, with one of each scent
Bee Bar
1lb of delicious Salt Water Taffy
$20 Gift Card (to be used after 1/1/12)
To get in the drawing to win this prize, all you have to do is comment to this post. Tell us what you love about SWAK (and Carol Ann’s too!)
Merry Christmas to all. Thanks for reading and we love you guys!

Being a long-distance shopper sometimes I need something quickly to complete my project and SWAK always gets it to me asap! Now how many companies can you say that about!?!
Merry Christmas to all who make SWAK happen!!

SWAK (or the knit shop, as my boys call it) is a lovely oasis amidst the storm. God bless you, everyone. See you after Christmas!

I won’t lie - it’s the YARN! It’s not run of the mill, new and different. Never boring. Always a treat. Also the books, patterns, needled, and accessories, too.
Candy is good, too.
I have so enjoyed the 24 days! Lots of patterns and recipes - what could be better?

The people and the awesome yarn!!!! After all these years away from Oklahoma City, I still miss ya’ll.

Since I live more than three hours away, I don’t get in very often but when I do there is always someone there to offer plenty of help with a smile. I also love your dedication to helping a small community prosper and thrive. Merry Christmas to all!

What I love about SWAK is that someone us always willing to help you when you’re stuck and they don’t make sign up for a “need help class” (and charge you for it too!). Although I’ve been on a knitting hiatus (carpel tunnel!) I know when I get going again there will be help available and lots of yummy soft yarn at SWAK!

I love the SWAK newsletter & website. When it is 300 miles to the nearest LYS, you really appreciate being able to order & shop online.

Yarn, Yarn, Yarn and more yarn.

I forgot about Sherry and Keely’s knitting brains. Always have a place to come to help figure out new patterns.

I am obsessed…knitting is my new favorite thing to do; SWAK is my new favorite place, and yall are my new friends! I look forward to Tuesdays when I can put laundry and errands aside and come knit for a couple hours! Thanks for patiently embracing beginners and opening up a whole new world to me. Merry Christmas!

I love all the fantastic yarns, the great patterns and ideas, and of course you guys!!!! I’ve learned so much about knitting from you all!
December 24th, 2011 at 3:21 pm
I appreciate all the help - for the time you take answering my questions, guiding me to yarn in the right gauge that I’m looking for. It has been this way since I started shopping here as a crocheter and has continued through with the learn to knit class I took and classes after that. I appreciate your generosity of time and patience. Happy holidays to ya’ll

What’s not to love??? I always learn something when I attend a class (and you never make me feel like I’m “slow” ). On the rare occasion that I need something and go to another yarn shop I feel like I’m “cheating” on SWAK
. I only knit for people I love so yarn = SWAK = love.
And Carol Ann’s … My girls love her bras!!!
P. S. thanks for making December fun!! Merry Christmas!!

love love love

Hmmm. What do I love about SWAK? Well, of course there is all the scrumptious yarn, beautiful bags, and now the clothes. But more than that, it’s coming in and seeing faces light up in recognition, and all the talking and laughing about projects, kids, husbands, even taxes.
Merry Christmas, everyone!

I love SWAK for encouraging me to knit things I was or would otherwise be skeptical about knitting. I have loved the trunk shows and think I really like knitting sweaters. I absolutely love my new rain boots. I even wear them when it’s not raining. They are super comfortable. Thank for for all the fun we have. I look forward to more great times this upcoming year. Here’s hoping Keely gets cookbooks for Christmas. Heehee! Merry Christmas!!

Why I love the workers of course! Also, it is a great kid friendly shop.

It’s gotta be the shoes. No, wait. I love the people. More specifically, the brilliant, kind, helpful wizards who introduced me to the joy of fabulous yarn & convinced me I could, yes, most definitely, knit (fill in the blank). SWAK is my playground, my candy store, my classroom, my laboratory and from time to time, my emergency room.
December 24th, 2011 at 7:53 pm
SWAK is always ready to help a long distance shopper. I can just tell them what I need and they will let me know honestly if it’s what I need/want. Thanks guys.
December 24th, 2011 at 10:51 pm
What do I not love about SWAK? From the wealth of knowledge to the fantastic yarn offerings, SWAK is my favorite yarn store ever. I have learned so very much and expanded my knitting horizons because of the folks at SWAK. I only wish I still lived closer. Thank goodness for your Virtual Classes.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!
December 25th, 2011 at 12:53 am
I love it when in class everyone is working at their own speed and when help is needed somehow your brain skips from problem to problem with understanding and direction and there is no problem. Amazing especially when everyone is working on different things. And Carol Ann’s SWEET
Your people are always helpful understanding and encouraging.
Merry Christmas
