April 30 - May 2Registration for next year’s Knit Out begins today! Join us next spring in historic downtown Guthrie for workshops from three of the hottest knitting superstars, fun times, and good eats!

Known for her incredible sock designs, including the most-popular Monkey and Pomatomus designs, Cookie is the author of Sock Innovation, and her second book, Knit.Sock.Love will be available in February 2010.

Cookie will be teaching Sock Innovation: Top Down Sock Design, Traveling Stitches, and Intuitive Chart Reading.

Jared Flood
This NY based knitwear designer & photographer is the creator of brooklyntweed.net and is one of the hottest designers on the market today. His first pattern collection, Made in Brooklyn, will be released soon.

Jared will be teaching Knitting from the Top Down, Seamless Sweater Workshop, and Plan Your Own Aran.

Sally Melville
This will be Sally’s fourth trip to SWAK, and there is nothing that excites us more than a visit from this fabulous designer. Her workshops are electrifying and will leave you inspired about knitting and living.

Sally will be teaching Borders and Buttonholes, Emergency Measures, Knit to Flatter and Fit, plus Friday lecture on Creativity.

For the ultimate experience, you will want to sign up for the Full Package and add as an extra Sally’s lecture on Creativity. If you can’t make it to town until Saturday, there is a Weekend Package just for you (although you’ll miss out on a fun time on Friday night). Later in the spring you will be able to sign up for workshops individually, however Pick-n-Choose registration doesn’t begin until March 1st.

Registration for Full & Weekend packages begins now! A non-refundable deposit is required for registration, with the balance due next spring. You can wait and pay the balance due then, or make payments throughout the year so that when spring rolls around it is all paid up. Spaces do fill, especially if you are needing a hotel room so don’t delay. We will be celebrating the 10th year of our legendary Knit Outs, and we expect it will be the best!
