I have everything crammed into my knitting bag without any sort of organization! I look forward to reading through all of the comments to see what others are doing.

I love organization and I am continually thinking I've come up with a better idea and reorganize. It's a sickness I'm sure. I keep track of my projects in a journal and that works for me. I make lots of notes and usually put them in my phone AND on paper. If I literally write it down I am more likely to remember. My yarn is organized by weight & patterns are in notebooks by category and by yarn weight and that helps me find things easier. I'm considering Knit Companion as well. I love almost every Cocoknit item I have, especially the clips and maker's board! Anything that helps me organize-I'm in!

I am not very organized at all when it comes to my knitting/crocheting but reading some of these comments and seeing these goodies makes me want to strive for that goal over this next year!

I am not known for my organization skills. Lists help. My husband moving my stuff around hurts in that I no longer know where things are.

I used to be so organized. However, I feel so unorganized borderline chaotic. Every New Year’s my resolution is to get more organized.

I love organization! I have a journal where I record every project that I work on, and I even went back to the beginning three years ago when I learned to knit. I have all of my patterns categorized and filed into notebooks. I have my husband working on a cabinet to store all of my yarn, so I’ll be able to see what I have in my collection. I’ve tried using knit companion, but so far I like paper patterns better.

I am not very organized with my knitting (or anything, really). I bought a bookshelf with 2 big bottom drawers to try to make a lovely yarn display with storage drawers for the ugly bits. It has been moderately successful. I generally use ziplock baggies for each project with my pattern stored in a clear plastic sleeve that way I can quickly toss the baggie into my go bag when I want to take a project with me. I would love a more elegant solution.

I used to feel organized, but ever since my husband retired, 8 months prior to pandemic, I just can't seem to get it together. Being home-bound during the pandemic left us together 24/7 except for his trips to the grocery store. I had almost panic attacks every time I put on a mask. When he was working, I could keep things in order, pay bills, keep my crafts sorted, & actually do some knitting or fun reading. Now, my only reprieve is to stay up a couple of hours after he goes to bed. I don't really get any organizing done during this extra time, but at least I can quiet my mind.

I use an accordion file to organize all of my patterns. I keep all downloaded patterns in one file

I use a notebook to keep my notes and keep track of my knitting projects. I love cocoknits products. Definitely that would be a great help to keep me organized!

Yes, the struggle is very real. I recently purchased a chest of drawers to attempt my project organization goal—while that’s a start, the process is overwhelming !!

My “project room” is actually my dining room table. Whenever we host an event like Thanksgiving, my projects have to be sorted and moved to a safe place so if I host often enough my projects don’t get too out of hand. I have the CocoKnits maker board but had not seen the envelope. That looks very cool! I also love the Knit Companion app because I don’t have to remember to take my pattern when knitting while traveling.

WELLl I try really hard to stay organized. My calendar has everything lettered on it—the challenge is looking at it daily.

I have tried logging my needles by size and length so I have them handy when I am looking for new stuff :) to try not to buy yet another size 7 or 10.

I have put my circulars into a sleeve in a notebook by size… working ok actually. And I have many of my non book patterns in sleeves in notebooks.

But still the struggle is SO real!

Organized? Good one. Hahahaha
My goal is to keep pattern in the same bag with yarn & needles. And to return needles to their sleeve when done.

The struggle is real! I use a notebook/pen to keep track of projects, ideas. My biggest issue is that my "to-do" list of projects likely exceeds my lifespan, lol. So many nice projects and yarn keep appearing, it's a fun challenge to tackle them all.

I have one of the hanging circular organizers that I bought from your shop several years ago. The set you are giving away would be really nice to own

I try to keep similar things near each other so I know where they are and what I already have. I use both a physical planner and a digital one for when I need alarms to remind me of things.

I am not as organised as I used to be, definitely pen and paper, then lose the paper. My yarn projects are all in a room and some are organised.
I love Cocoknits products and that looks really neat.

Organization escapes me. I store a copy of the pattern with yarn to remember what I thought at the time of acquisition. Now STITCHMARKERS are essential to staying on track in my project. the more the merrier. Colors - Blue=Back, Fushia=Front, Red=Right, Lavender=Left.. and on and on it goes.

For projects I use the good ole Ziplock bag. I can see my project and other tools in the bag. It zips at the top and it's grab and go. For patterns I use the standard 3 ring notebook. I do use Knit Companion for some projects. I'm flexible and can adapt. Simple is my motto.

I make lists and keep a calendar, both paper and in my phone! I also put my knitting projects in ziploc bags with the pattern so I can remember why I bought the yarn!!

I try to do lists, but often get tired of looking at them. I find that for daily tasks, my calendar works best for me. I’ve tried notebooks, but cant use just one and to have many makes a mess. Mostly I just bumble along.

My yarn room needs constant reorganization and touch up. Obviously, I am a work in progress

You may notice I have my phone in front of my face a lot when I shop for yarns. I use spreadsheet software to help me keep track of my yarn and patterns, and I have it uploaded to a cloud so that I can view it across devices. I include the dye lots of the yarns in case I come across more, and I even keep my yarn shopping list on it. I've got a lot of patterns, and sometimes it's difficult to remember where I saw a pattern, so my spreadsheet workbook also lists both the pattern and yarn needed. I can generally make a spreadsheet for anything, as I also use it for genealogical research, but that's a longer story. I can't completely do all digital, so I use a hardcopy agenda for my timekeeping and scheduling; I'm not a fan of buzzers constantly going off, and I don't want to be in the position of not knowing my schedule at a time when the batteries of my gadgets have died, or that I have to boot up someone to access such important info.

Definitely old school pen and paper. I make lists a lot. If I’m driving and I think of something I need to add to the list I will summon Siri and ask that he sets a reminder for me. I have to organize or I go crazy!
