I am planning to knit a hat for my brother. I have been wanting to knit one that is a bit crazy. He goes skiing every year and wears the hats I knit him. I think some fun colors would be amazing on the slopes.

Since I moved, it seems as though I want everyone left behind to have a hand-knitted item. I've made a pair of fingerless mitts, a small shawl, and a colorwork hat so far (finished the hat last night). The last project is another pair of fingerless mitts.

I'm a slow knitter, so when I do decide to make Christmas gifts, I do my best to plan way ahead and get started by September. Preferably in June, lol.
