The basis of the philosophy of Noro is inspired by ancient Japanese acceptance, enjoyment, and charm of the non-uniformity, unevenness, and coarseness of nature. The natural states are intentionally left by using human hands and old machinery when producing their yarns so that the natural fibers are not over processed. All animal fibers used are from certified organic farms. Noro yarns are known for their unique and bold use of color, with the aim to reproduce the colors of nature using processes that are as eco-friendly as possible.
