I don't mind ironing once I get started. It's the set up of everything to get going that has me putting it off until the last minute. It does bring back good memories of grandma teaching me. She put the board down low so I could comfortably iron grandpa's boxers (the only thing she trusted me with ;-D).

I actually enjoy the ironing process and have ironed for years! It is wonderful to see ironed crispness and detail! Blocking is a process and the new tools available should make it enjoyable, the finished product should be a joy!

I wouldn't say I ever enjoyed ironing, but I did like the crisp edges it gave to clothes and quilt seams back in the day. Wash and wear clothes seem to be the go-to these days, so I rarely iron anymore.

* I don't wish to be considered for the drawing *

I have a gift bag that says, "It's your birthday? I'm so happy, I could iron!" I had a summer job in a tuxedo rental store when I was in college, where I learned a lot about ironing efficiently. I rarely need to iron these days, but I do enjoy it.

About a year ago, I bought a set of blocking mats with 1" grid lines. Before that, I used a set of children's alphabet floor mat tiles, which worked great, although pinning for precision took a lot longer (no grid lines).

I don’t enjoy ironing but I don’t hate it. Mom started us ironing daddy’s handkerchiefs, tea towels, pillowcases, thing that if we scorched them it wasn’t a tragedy. Most things these days don’t require ironing. Maybe cloth napkins. But I’d love that kit.

Ironing is not my favorite thing but necessary for some items. For those few items, I find it oddly satisfying. My drawback is the time it takes to drag out the ironing board—and then putting it away!

I do not enjoy ironing. Ironing was one of the jobs when I was growing up. We ironed the pillow cases, handkerchiefs and even our underwear. I was so glad when I had my own household and could decide to stop.

Oddly the only thing I am willing to iron is high thread count cotton sheets and sewing projects.

No, no and no to ironing. I iron rarely, only when it is a necessity.
